Since 2014, Stella Artois has leveraged its sponsorship of The Wimbledon Championships to deliver elevated B2B hosting experiences and engage key audiences through its ambassador and influencer programs. For the 2024 tournament, Plot was tasked with developing innovative, social-forward concepts to maximize Stella Artois’ presence and impact.


Collaborating with the Global Brand Director, Global Content & Production Director and global sports agency, Octagon, Plot conceptualized a suite of creative solutions tailored to Stella Artois’ objectives. This included integrating core ambassadors such as Maria Sharapova, David Beckham, and Frances Tiafoe into content strategies that resonated across platforms.

Inspired by Wimbledon’s famously unpredictable weather, “When It Rains, We Pour” transformed rain delays into an opportunity to connect with audiences. By displaying the message on court covers and offering free pints during pauses in play, Stella Artois not only hacked a typically frustrating moment but also deepened its association with the tournament’s unique culture.

Two decades ago, history was made on the iconic grass courts of Wimbledon. Maria Sharapova’s victory defined an era, a moment etched in tennis greatness. Stella Artois celebrated her skill, passion, and unforgettable triumph that had fans on the edge of their seats.
